HI, I'M INÊS.
I’m fascinated by the narrative impact of design and the way it can transfer ideas from one mind to another, shape perception, and inspire action. To me, design is like the creation of a new language, a system of choices that guides how something is understood and experienced, and where rational problem-solving meets storytelling.
My process often begins with words. Long before design became my career, I loved writing and creating with pen and paper. That curiosity eventually evolved into a way of working that’s rooted in language and strategy. It’s not unusual for me to start a project with a dictionary open, searching for the right words to define a concept before translating it into a visual system.
After more than a decade working in design (and over five years doing so remotely), my practice exists somewhere between the analog and digital worlds. While I enjoy the playground of possibilities of the digital landscape, I’ve always had a soft spot for the tangible side of design: stationery, paper, and traditional printing techniques.
I take a non-linear approach to projects. Each one comes with its own context, goals, and challenges, so my process adapts rather than following a fixed sequence. What remains consistent is a research-driven mindset and a systems approach to visual identity, but I’m always looking for ways to refine and improve how I work and to be part of projects that embrace bold ideas and thoughtful creative thinking.
When I’m not working (or drooling over recipes I’ll probably never attempt from impossibly beautiful cookbooks), you’ll likely find me on a tennis court, geeking out over stationery materials, crocheting like someone’s grandma on caffeine, or spoiling my dog.
